Mark McWilliams

Mark advises both employers and executives. He is particularly experienced in litigating unfair dismissal and discrimination claims. He enjoys finding pragmatic solutions to complex employment problems, and helping his clients to maintain strong and productive employment relationships.

Examples of recent work:

Mark recently acted in a disability case involving a wheelchair user whose employer had not provided accessible facilities for her. He also acted in a whistleblowing case involving the dismissal of an employee after reporting violations of health and safety regulations. Both cases were settled on a successful basis.

Comments from clients:

“I met with Mark having been signed off work sick and having been bullied in the workplace. He listened, analysed my situation and devised a strategy to deal with the position I was in. Throughout the time Mark was supportive in every sense, being concerned for my wellbeing as well as the legal situation. Mark helped me reach a successful outcome and I could not recommend his services more.”  Senior Executive

“Thank-you so very much for your help. Your calm and patient demeanor and clear competence really did take the stress out of all of it.” Senior Executive

The support, care and understanding that was provided by yourself throughout … was greatly appreciated. … You supplied me with the strength and courage to see it through to the end.
